Individuals that normally play games with their dogs have a very healthy understanding for their pet animals. It's significant to note that when playing any game, the dog owner should have an objective that they are trying to teach the dog.

For example, this is a good game to play in order to teach the dog to wait for a pre amount of time until they are called, when they are hearing you pouring or making their favorite meal, you can then instruct them to wait until you are finished preparing it. A simple way that you can go about playing this game is by instructing your dog to wait or sit until you call them to come and get you. Make a point to watch your dog while you are hiding, because it is very common for them to get a sneak peak and thus finding you almost effortlessly.

In addition, another fun game that you and your pet canine friend can enjoy is called Find the treat. What the dog owner does is first instruct their pet dog to sit or wait while they are scattering various dog treats in multiple of places around the area. Make sure to hide these treats in good places because dogs have a very keen sense of smell which makes it easy for them to find certain substances. When you are finished hiding the treats then instruct your dog to go and find them. It's also a fun idea to try and record your dog during the process to see if they can keep improving each time you play this game with them.

Lastly, is another fun game called Follow the Leader. What the pet owner does is set up several obstacles for your dog or puppy and instructs them to work through the obstacles. Some good elements to include in the obstacles are freebies, cones, and inflatable objects.
